Validation

So, Wade will be thrilled that I tell this story...

Aidan has been getting himself dressed everyday. I really need to be there to lay out his clothes otherwise we end up with some nice outfits. Today he asked if he could wear a "Daddy Shirt." This just means that he wants to go and get one of Wade's white t-shirts. I said he could, but that meant that he would have to be "daddy" for the day. He stopped dead in his tracks and said, "but, I don't want to sit on the couch and watch football all day." I asked him if he wanted to be the mommy for the day and he said no because he didn't want to do chores. I guess I might get some help with the 'chores' this weekend.

In Wade's defense, Aidan was referring to January 1st, and only January 1st as the day that Wade sat and watched football!

He wore his own clothes today, and the pants were on backwards.
