Catching Up: Halloween 2008

We kicked off the Halloween season early with a church sponsored trip to the local pumpkin patch, and then to a family party. While Wade and I enjoyed the theme of the day. Well, maybe just me, but Wade was a trooper. The boys were a little too young to get it--Aidan kept telling people he was a tower. I think I summed it all up when I explained to 'fan' that, "this is probably the last year that I can tell them what they will be for Halloween, so I am gonna live it up this year!"

Catching up: UNI Homecoming

We took the boys down to the UNI Homecoming festivities a couple of weeks ago. The streets around the campus were under construction so, the parade turned 'virtual,' and they added a few inflatables for Aidan to jump on. Owen got to wear the panther costume this year (Aidan got it two years ago.) He was a huge hit. Here are some pictures of that day (look for other posts to include the several other forms of media that the lil panther showed up in!)

So, we are putting this together for all of those family members who are out there, and want to know what is going on with us. I will try to stay on top of this as best as I can. Hopefully, this will be easier than sending large emails with huge pictures in them--AND, best of all, I won't forget anyone this way...something I am horribly guilty of.
